Surendran Failed To Respect SC's Order; Bail Plea Hearing Tomorrow| Mathrubhumi News

Kochi: The High court postponed the hearing of K Surendran’s bail plea, in the case pertaining to attack of a woman who was visiting the Sabarimala temple, to Friday. The HC observed that Surendran did not respect the Supreme Court order and questioned why he visited Sabarimala on the protest day. The government advocate raised strong objection to the bail plea stating that Surendran took law in his own hands. Stating that Surendran had planned the attack on the woman, the government advocate demanded that bail should not be granted to him. However, the HC asked for how long could Surendran be imprisoned and questioned if there weren't cases against ministers. The HC also asked if Surendran was the only member of the BJP and postponed the verdict to Friday.
