Sannidhanam: On the 12th day of the Vrishchika month, Sabarimala Temple was lit with 12 lamps indicating the ritualistic '12 vilakku' ceremony. Unlike the previous mandala-makaravilakku seasons, where pilgrims prefer the auspicious day for Sabarimala darshan, the ceremony was held amid a less-crowded temple.
