"Thank you for your service" is the sentiment at the heart of each Villages Honor Flight mission. The nonprofit is one of the 125 hubs of the national Honor Flight Network, all committed to honoring those who served during World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and veterans of any service era who are critically ill. Growing Bolder was honored to join 66 veterans, their guardians, and other volunteers for a recent one-day mission to our nation’s capital.
