Idukki: The road traffic was disrupted in Munnar following heavy rain and floods. The third shutter of the Mattupetty dam will be opening soon and alert had been issued in the district to avoid unfortunate incidents. The Muthirapuzha river flowing through Munnar is overflowing and the locals opined that in the past fifty years they have not witnessed such a heavy flood.
