On the Docket: Comments on the HJC Report

The U.S. House Judiciary Subcommittee on Antitrust recently put the largest technology companies in the United States – the so-called “Tech Giants” of Alphabet, Apple, Amazon, and Facebook – front and center and questioned on a range of issues, from business practices to matters of privacy, taxation, innovation, and more. In light of this and other hearings as well as input from a variety of sources and submissions, the Subcommittee on Antitrust will soon release its Report. CCIA and Competition Policy International have called on a distinguished panel of experts to analyze and explain the implications, logic, and consequences of the Report and how it will affect both competition law directly as well as issues related to privacy, intellectual property, and international business and trade, in theory and in practice.
