Revered high school football coach Travis Turner missing after cops reveal child porn probe

A highly admired Virginia high school football coach has landed himself in hot water after police revealed the twice named “Coach of the Year” had fled from his home in rural Virginia, amid a number of disturbing allegations brought against him. Travis Turner, a 46-year-old married father of three, disappeared on Nov. 20, after he became aware that officers were headed to his Appalachia, Virginia home to discuss an unspecified investigation. Though police were initially mum on the nature of the probe, cops finally revealed on Tuesday that they were charging the small-town football guru with five counts of child pornography and another five of using a computer to solicit a minor. As of Nov. 26, Turner is still on the run and investigators have launched a multi-agency manhunt, involving drones, state police aviation, K-9s and bloodhounds, to find the fugitive coach.
