Stevie Nicks Says Fleetwood Mac Won't Tour After Christine McVie's Death

Stevie Nicks has announced that Fleetwood Mac will not tour again following the passing of Christine McVie in November 2022. In a new interview, Nicks expressed her feelings about the band's future, stating that McVie's absence is irreplaceable. "Who am I going to look over to on the right and have them not be there behind that Hammond organ? When she died, I figured we really can’t go any further with this. There’s no reason to" Nicks told Vulture. Mick Fleetwood had previously hinted at the band's possible conclusion, acknowledging the loss of Chris as a defining moment. While the 2018 tour was initially considered a farewell tour, Nicks has now confirmed that Fleetwood Mac's touring days have come to an end. McVie, a longtime member of the band who had rejoined in 2013, passed away after a brief illness in 2022, leaving a significant void within the group.
