Wine Spectator's No. 5 Wine of 2023

With deep roots and nearly 150 years of winemaking history, southern Italy’s Mastroberardino family helped put Campania's Taurasi region on the map. They lobbied for and achieved Taurasi's appellation status in 1970, garnering its nickname, “Barolo of the South,” along the way. And now they've garnered Wine Spectator's No. 5 Wine of the Year honor for the Mastroberardino Taurasi Radici Riserva 2016.
