Intense snowstorm battered Northern California with not just heavy snow but also gusty winds up to 100mph on Saturday and Sunday, March 2 and 3. Blizzard conditions were reported from various areas. Since the travel conditions were bad with low visibility, some roads were shut and residents were urged to stay inside. This video shows snow accumulated in North Lake Tahoe.
