Mt. Pleasant farm tries out 'silvo-pasture' method

The Pittsburgher Highland Farm in Mt. Pleasant is in the process of adding several hundred trees and shrubs to the landscape, to protect creeks from agriculture run-off, and to provide shade for its Highland and hybrid cows.
