Road improvements on the A14 have come at the cost of villagers health and sleep, according to those living near the works. Highways England has been carrying out essential works on the carriageway since August with residents of Trimley St Martin, Trimley St Mary and Walton have been concerned by the diversion of heavy goods vehicles - heading to and from the Port of Felixstowe -through the villages.
