Heavy fighting continued around the besieged Ukrainian city of Mariupol on Sunday, as residents moved between destroyed buildings and shelters in an effort to stay alive. Local residents walked amongst debris caused by the fighting, carrying bags or pushing carts of food and other supplies. Dead bodies laid in clear view, covered in dust, on the ground among the debris. Valentina, a Mariupol resident, sat outside alongside her neighbour and their dogs as sounds of shelling echoed in the background.
