Twitter owner Elon Musk is planning to build his own ‘utopia’ town for his workers to live in. The billionaire wants to set up a community for his workers close to SpaceX and The Boring Company just outside of Austin, Texas. ‘Snailbrook’ will reportedly be built on 3,500 acres of land and cost residents $800 per month. Amenities such as outdoor sports areas and swimming pools are also planned as part of the town. As well as a sign that reads, “welcome, snailbrook, tx, est. 2021”. The town will be for Musk's employees only. If employees are fired or resign, they would have 30 days to leave the premises. 'Snailbrook' needs at least 201 residents to apply before it can qualify as a town. Musk reportedly chose Texas over California as there are fewer zoning laws, labor requirements and no corporate income tax.
